KNOCK-KNOCK..... Who is There????
On Sunday September 2, 2012, at 9:39 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to the report of a burglary in progress at a residence in the 1400 block of North Rosa Parks Way.
The caller said they heard glass break, and looked to see someone crawling through a back window.
Officers set up containment around the building, which is a house with a business on the main floor and a residence on the lower level.
Officers rang the doorbell and the suspect went to the back window he entered through, saw officers, then went out the front door where he complied with commands and was taken into custody and identified as 42-year-old Clifford Towers.
Towers was charged with Burglary in the First Degree and Criminal Mischief in the First Degree and booked into the Multnomah County Jail.
