TriMet, TSA announcing MAX 'security enhancements' in Moscow bombing aftermath

TriMet recognizes the importance of being vigilant in order to reduce the risk of terrorist activities on mass transit. We will have a news conference tomorrow detailing our latest TSA security grant and the status of cameras on our light rail system.
Yeah Mary Those cameras will document what was perpetrated on the victims.. While they bleed to death waiting on your non existent rent a Cops to come by and watch the Carnage...If You can't dazzle us with Brilliance Why Baffle us with B.S.

No Sewer Money For Bicycles

A citizen utility advisory board tonight rejected a proposed 7 percent hike in sewer rates this year, citing an inability to square the rate increase with a decision by City Council this week to spend $20 million on “green street” features.
The vote by the Portland Utility Review Board to reject the proposed 2010-11 environmental services budget was unanimous. Their comments were tart, even as they acknowledged that the people who should be hearing them – Portland Mayor Sam Adams and the rest of the City Council – were not present.

Portland council approves sewer money for bikes
I guess my questions are Why are we able to switch pots of money from bureau to bureau at the whim of The Mayor ,but not when there is really something to be done . Like Pot holes Road construction/maintenance, and refunding to the people all of this "Found" money???
